I got 2 weeks left of my whole bachelor education, and then i'm officially authorized registered nurse in Norway,
scary, exciting and challenging.. mixed up emotions.. Just glad i'll be done, after 16 years of education, non-stop... i can finally say that im free.. and it's time for the real world.. Focus, Learn, Succeed!

Confession#3: Social Anxiety

I have a confession..

- a "short" story of my life with S.A.

Ever since i was a kid, i had always problem of meeting other people, i thought it was hard to start a conversations with people, i couldnt even look them in the eyes,  i was silent most of the time when i was with people, everytime we had oral presentation in school, i was very nervous and about to faint everytime, i couldn't sleep well the day before every presentation, i was alway worrying what people would say if it do that and this etc, and would be embarrest if i ever did something wrong or foolish, and could've nagging on that for a while..

I honestly thought it was just shyness, cause everytime a friend of my parents ask them why i didn't talk to much or something like that, they always say that i was only shy..so i thought i just was a shyguy..

When i was studying "caregiver" on high school, and had a lecture about social anxiety. And it hit me, and felt that i had some of those symptoms etc. From that second on, i knew i might have a weak form of social anxiety. I have never been diagnosed for Social Anxiety, but after years of studying within "health and science", i have my thoughts and opinion.. But as a highschooler, i didn't want to tell anybody that i had a weak form of Social Anxiety, cause i think it was lame, so i kept my mouth shut and just decided to work on it..

It was first when i got into college and studied nursing, i "revealed"/"admit" (or whatever you would say) that i have a weak form of Social Anxiety.. It's because i learned more about it, and really think that it's good for me to not "hide" it..

Anywho, when i got older ( from highschool + *17 yrs old*, to be more specific)  i got better to handle my anxiety, for instant i think it's not so scary to have a presentation in school, and i don't care what people think if i do this and that (or atleast not as much as i was before), or if a do something foolish, i don't think about it as much as i did. I wasn't struggling on the anxiety as much when i was younger..

Now, i think i handle things much better, even though, i still have a weak form of it (but not as much that it's bothering me all the time..) I still think is kinda hard to have conversations with new people or people i usually don't meet often, i do sometimes worry what people think of me etc etc.
The weirdest thing is, i could talk to a girl, and be really close to that person, but when i suddenly fall for the person, it's like i'm back at square one, and the anxiety comes back, and starts to overthink, nervous, feeling like i could faint, etc.. the feeling like i'm not myself.. So yeah, that's what i gotta work more on..

The reason that im writing this, is for terapeutical use for myself..
*And for those who have a social anxiety, all i can say is, it will be better, as long as you work on it.. I can't tell and say that it's it easy to overcome the anxiety, for it is not,
And i cant even imagine how hard it is for those people who really have a major social anxiety, that the anxiety is taking over your life.. I only hope and pray for you guys, and i think it will be better, it's only takes time..be patience, and work hard :)*

Cancer Unit!

My last internship i'm having during my bachelor degree in nursing, is focusing about cooperation/ the teamwork between the hospital and the community.. and I'll be on a cancer unit during my time in the hospital, to follow up some patients.. Had my first day today, and it went well.. but i must say it's kinda hard to start up the conversation with the patient because i dont know how the patient tackles his/hers diagnose, and how vulnerable the patient is around the topic of his/hers diagnose..

Anywayz, think this will be a instructive internship period for me..

My "internship" there was FANTASTIC! Very Nice people who's working there! Speechless, Just want to thanks the good people there :) You guys know who you are! NB! you can eat the best waffles there..


New York is one of a kind, Every time i'm there im keep falling and falling in love with the city..

The Apartment we rented was nice, the neighborhood was better than expected, to be honest.. Upper East side! I thought there would be a lot of noises and police-sirens and that kinda stuff.. haha.. like i'd seen on films.. but it proved me wrong.. It's very nice actually!




Already on my first week there, we were on a wrestling match on Madison Square Garden. The Atmosphere there were none like any others.. You should definitely watch a match there..

We also walked around midtown and downtown the first week.. Gone shopping etc.
Second week, we went to Jersey gardens among other things, watched a movie in the cinema ("This Means War", very funny movie, y'all shall see it, *if you haven't seen it yet*)
We also watched NBA match between Knicks & Cavs... wooow... it was cool, even though our seat was far away, the view was fantastic, i can't complain!


First day of my 3rd week, my dad, cousin and aunt drove me to Atlantic city!! it was so niice to start of my last week on ACity, even though i wasn't on shopping&gamble mood that day!
I spent time with my family those last day i was in the U.S. But also went shopping for some things my family back in Norway wanted.. Eat at a japanish "restaurant" that i know my lil bro will love (because of Ramen).. My cousin also took us to the waterfront, so we could se the very nice view of the manhattan "island".




During my last week, my dad also rented a car, so it would be easy for us to drive to shopping malls and back to the airport etc etc.. I would recommend that!

Discussion is the hardest part on writing the bachelor exam and in any other papers, for that matter.. And to be honest i don't know if my discussion is good enough.. And as the day comes and goes, and it's closer to the deadline, I'm beginning to doubt if i chose the right subject to write in my bachelor exam.. It's not because i don't like the subject.. but the fact that i ended up with a strict teacher.. hahaha.. i'm so terrified of failing this one.. Since i began in college i have been struggling and workin' hard to assure that i'll finish my education as soon as possible.. So i really hope i'll pass this..

so stressed and depressed, as i am right now..

Geez! i got one of our school's hardest and strictest teacher (Rumors from some fellow schoolmates) as my "supervisor" on my Bachelor Exam.. And i can agree that she is a tough teacher.. When i had a guidance-help with her today..she mentioned to me that she thinks it's hard for her to guide me through the exam because she thinks that i'm dejected etc etc..
And i am really scared of failing this exam.. i really do.. But as i usually do --> Expect the worst, hope for the best. Please God be with me in this one too, as you've always been by me on my every other essay through my education..
